GRP PU Sandwich Panel
The GRP PU Sandwich Panel combines glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) skins with a rigid polyurethane foam core, bonded using polyester or polyurethane resin adhesives. The GRP skins range from 0.7 to 5.0 mm thick with gel coatings available in matte, glossy, or embossed finishes and RAL colors. The closed-cell polyurethane core provides densities from 28 to 50 kg/m³, delivering thermal conductivity between 0.018 and 0.024 W/(m·K).
The panel operates across temperatures from -40°C to 120°C while resisting moisture, chemicals, and UV radiation. The closed-cell structure minimizes water absorption and maintains structural stability under mechanical stress. With core densities as low as 32 kg/m³, the lightweight design facilitates handling and installation while providing high stiffness and impact resistance. Service life typically exceeds 25 years with minimal maintenance requirements.
Applications include construction walls, roofs, and partitions; refrigerated transportation vehicles and trailers; cold storage facilities; modular buildings; and marine environments. CNC machining enables precise fabrication for complex designs and embedded components like aluminum profiles. Panels are manufactured up to 12 meters long and 3.2 meters wide using vacuum composite processes.
Customization options include thicknesses from 10mm to 200mm, various dimensions, surface finishes, colors, and reinforcement materials tailored to specific performance requirements.
