PUR Sandwich Panel
PUR Sandwich Panels feature aluminum alloy sheets bonded to a polyurethane (PU) foam core in a three-layer structure. Pre-painted aluminum skins (alloys 1100, 3003, and 5005) range from 0.1mm to 2.0mm thickness, while the foam core maintains 40 kg/m³ density. Core thickness varies from 20mm to 100mm, with panels reaching 1500mm width and 5800mm length.
The polyurethane foam core provides excellent thermal insulation with low thermal conductivity. Aluminum skins deliver moisture and corrosion resistance, while protective coatings ensure long service life. The lightweight construction reduces structural loads and enables easy handling. Standard wood or aluminum tools suffice for fabrication.
Surface treatments include Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF), Fluoroethylene Vinyl Ether (FEVE), or Polyethylene (PE) coatings in mill finish, metallic, solid, wood grain, or stone grain patterns. Panels accommodate flat or curved profiles with standard open edges, closed edges, or custom aluminum extrusion edges. Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining enables precise custom shapes.
Applications span building facades, interior partitions, roofing, cold rooms, and refrigerated truck bodies. Installation methods include riveting or gluing, with custom fabrication available for project-specific requirements.
