PPGI Sandwich Panel
PPGI Sandwich Panels combine two pre-painted galvanized steel sheets with a rigid foam core, typically polyisocyanurate (PIR), delivering thermal insulation and structural cladding in one factory-assembled unit. The pre-painted steel substrates feature corrosion-resistant coatings that enhance durability against moisture and environmental factors.
These panels offer energy efficiency by reducing heat transfer, with R-values reaching up to R-64 depending on thickness and core material. PIR foam provides approximately 7.2 per inch thermal resistance, while thicknesses range from 1 to 8 inches. Panel lengths extend up to 54 feet, and widths span 24 to 42+ inches to accommodate various architectural requirements.
Available profiles include corrugated and trapezoidal designs for roofs, plus flat or striated faces for walls. Configuration options feature standing seam systems for concealed fastening or exposed fastener designs. Color choices are extensive, with exterior finishes available in nearly any shade using polyester or specialized coating systems, while interior faces typically come in standard off-white or custom colors.
Installation involves securing panels to wooden or steel trusses using specialized screws, with fasteners positioned at high points to prevent water accumulation. The interlocking joint system enables rapid assembly, reducing on-site labor time while ensuring proper waterproofing and structural integrity for industrial, commercial, and agricultural applications.
