Mineral Wool Sandwich Panel
Mineral wool sandwich panels combine three layers for fire-resistant construction: galvanized or aluminum corrugated sheets (0.3-0.8 mm thick) encase a high-density basalt rock wool core (110-120 kg/m³). The mineral wool features perpendicular fiber orientation and open cell structure for enhanced mechanical strength, with polyurethane edge sealing for structural integrity.
These panels deliver superior fire protection with Euroclass (EI) 90-120 ratings and A2-s1,d0 reaction classification. Thermal performance reaches U-values as low as 0.14 W/m²K, while acoustic insulation exceeds 30 decibels (dB) for 50 mm thickness. The panels maintain dimensional stability across temperature and humidity variations.
Available in core thicknesses from 50-300 mm and lengths up to 15,000 mm, panels feature S250GD steel cladding with polyester or Aluzinc coatings. Effective widths are 1000 mm or 1100 mm, with weights ranging from 15.5-41.8 kg/m². Thermal conductivity (λD) measures 0.043 W/mK. Cladding profiles include lined, grooved, plain, and micro-profile options with secret fixing or exposed lock joint systems.
Applications span industrial facilities, warehouses, commercial offices, and agricultural structures for external walls, internal partitions, and roof systems. European Norm (EN) 14509 certification ensures compliance, while prefabricated components reduce construction time by over 40%. The basalt rock core supports sustainability through natural, recyclable materials.
