Truck floor panels are high load-bearing sandwich panels engineered to withstand forklift traffic, concentrated pallet point loads, and repeated cargo cycling inside truck and trailer bodies. Unlike wall panels, floor panels are built with reinforced plywood, polypropylene (PP) honeycomb, or high-density polyurethane cores that resist permanent deformation under dynamic wheel loads.
The top surface is finished with anti-slip aluminum checker plate, textured FRP, or grooved coated steel, providing secure footing for forklift operators and warehouse personnel even in wet or greasy loading conditions. A moisture-resistant bottom skin seals the core against ground splash, condensation, and subframe runoff that would otherwise degrade the panel from below.
Standard 105mm thickness accommodates embedded hardwood or steel reinforcement profiles at high-stress zones—forklift entry points, pallet landing areas, and tie-down positions—distributing concentrated axle loads across the full panel width. Panels bond directly to steel or aluminum crossmembers using structural adhesive and mechanical fasteners, eliminating the need for separate subfloor framing.
These panels serve truck and trailer floors, loading ramp surfaces, tail-lift platforms, and warehouse delivery vehicle floors. They are designed for daily forklift entry at rated axle loads up to 8,000 kg, maintaining flatness, anti-slip performance, and structural integrity throughout extended service life.
Your Trusted Manufacturer for Truck Floor Panel
RaxPanel manufactures truck floor panels at our Hebei, China facility using heated press lamination calibrated for flat-panel geometry. Unlike curved wall or roof sections, floor panels demand uniform adhesive spread and consistent press pressure across the full 2,700mm width to guarantee zero voids beneath the wear surface—any bonding gap becomes a crush point under forklift wheels.
Every production batch undergoes destructive load-cycle testing: sample panels are subjected to 10,000 passes of a loaded forklift wheel at rated axle load before release. Anti-slip surfaces are verified with pendulum slip-resistance testing (PTV ≥ 40) to confirm safe footing in wet conditions. With a daily production capacity exceeding 1,700 m² and exports to more than 30 countries and regions, we supply trailer builders and fleet operators who require documented load-test data with every floor panel shipment.
- Heated press lamination with full-width adhesive coverage verified by ultrasonic bond inspection.
- Destructive forklift wheel load-cycle testing (10,000 passes at rated axle load) on every batch.
- Anti-slip surface verified to PTV ≥ 40 pendulum slip-resistance value for wet-condition safety.
- Embedded hardwood or steel reinforcement at forklift entry zones and pallet landing positions.

Truck Floor Panel Engineering Guide
Truck floor panels carry concentrated forklift wheel loads, resist moisture from wash-down and cargo spillage, and must remain flat over the body’s service life. The guide below addresses the structural, material, and installation decisions specific to floor applications.
Forklift wheel loads of 2,500-5,000 kg on a 200 mm² contact patch create local stresses that crush standard 40 kg/m³ foam. Specify high-density PU cores above 60 kg/m³ or add hardwood bearer strips at the wheel paths to distribute the load.
1. Core density and forklift load capacity
Floor panels must resist concentrated wheel loads without permanent indentation. Standard 40 kg/m³ PU foam deflects under a 3,000 kg forklift axle, causing the floor surface to dish over time. High-density PU at 60-80 kg/m³ or PET foam at 100+ kg/m³ maintains a flat running surface. For the heaviest forklift operations, hardwood or bamboo bearer strips embedded in the core at wheel-path centres spread the load over a wider foam area.
2. Top surface options for cargo handling
